This is a single mother of six children, whose father left the family this summer. After being a stay-at-home mom for the past 16 years, she is now facing the difficult task of providing for her children on her own.
Several of her children have significant mental and physical health challenges that require weekly therapies, which are essential but also place a substantial strain on the family’s finances. Most of her income is going toward these necessary medical and therapeutic expenses, leaving little for other needs, let alone holiday gifts and celebrations.
